Studio Location & Capabilities

Where is the studio located?

L.A. Voiceover studio is located across the street from Sony Pictures at 10220 Culver Blvd., Culver City, CA 90232. Popular freeway exits are either Robertson or Overland off the 10, or Washington/Venice off the 405. If you need additional info, just let us know.

What voiceover services do you offer?

L.A. Voiceover is a purpose-built recording studio dedicated to voiceover work. We offer full-service voiceover production for directors, creative teams, and actors. That includes recording sessions, remote recording, ADR, audio editing, and VO auditions. See our Production Services page for the full list and details.

Do you offer voiceover classes, coaching, or audition recording?

We currently do not offer group voiceover classes, but we do provide one-on-one coaching, remote setup consultations, and audition recording services. See our Actor Services page for details.

Remote Voiceover Recording Services

Is Source-Connect available?

Yes. We run Source-Connect Studio (formerly Source-Connect Pro) over a wired high-speed connection. See Remote Options for details.

Can I direct sessions remotely?

Absolutely! You can direct in real time via Source-Connect and other options. See Remote Options for details.

Can I attend sessions remotely?

Yes. You can join the session remotely to hear all recording and playback just as the director does. You’re able to discuss takes and provide suggestions and approvals. See Remote Options for details.

Do you provide a local safety recording for remote sessions?

Yes. Even if a remote protocol such as Source-Connect or Riverside.fm is being used to record talent from our booth to a remote location, we always record locally.

Session Logistics

What file formats do you deliver?

Standard production session delivery is 24-bit/48 kHz WAV, organized to match your session flow. On request, we can provide an AAF export of the Pro Tools project or the full Pro Tools session file. If you need a different spec, please contact us. All audition recordings are delivered as MP3 only.

How do I get my files?

We deliver all production files for both local and remote sessions via secure download link sent to the email address you provide. This link is shareable with team members. Audition files are delivered via email.

How long do you keep the session backup?

We keep local backups for 30 days in case you need a replacement. If you’d like us to delete them sooner, just let us know.

What happens if I need to reschedule?

If you need to reschedule, please be in touch as soon as you know so that we can do our best to find a time that works on our schedule here. We understand that production schedules shift, and we do our best to accommodate requests that meet our cancellation/reschedule policy.

Do you take any health and safety precautions between sessions?

Yes. We take health and safety precautions all day long, maintaining high standards for air quality, booth hygiene, and equipment care. This includes, but is not limited to, UV-C germicidal light disinfection between all sessions. If you have any particular concerns or requests, just let us know.
